The IU-Greens councilor in the city of Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, today highlighted the importance of the agreement of municipal governing board on 29 May, which was decided the withdrawal of prefabricated classrooms located on municipal land in a plot for educational equipment where the promoter Lopez Gates sought to move the public school in La Paz.

Tornel has said he hopes the mayor of Murcia to enforce the law, clarifying how long time the developer had granted permission to occupy is space, whether to pay any amount for occupying public land and if it has, and whether it will receive penalty for failing to comply with its obligations.

IU-Green recalls that the same promoter continues to maintain a work shed with office functions your business in the vacant lot where the school was originally located Infantil La Paz, also public land.

Back in March of 2009 IU-Greens raised questions in Parliament in this regard.
