Children, protagonists Environment Day (05/06/2013)

The Mayor presents awards for school competitions summoned by the city to commemorate this date.

Participants have been awarded in Green Schools programs and school gardens and poster competitions in the water? Motto-and drawing what has revolved around the bike.

1). - GREEN SCHOOLS PROGRAM

The CEIP Santiago Garcia Medel, Era Alta, and IES Sangonera La Verde, have received the awards "Green Schools", which this year celebrates its 12th edition and which involved 23 schools.

This program aims to develop habits that help students better understand the concepts related to environmental education: responsible consumption, waste, alternative energy, etc..

4). - IV DRAWING CONTEST "BICYCLE"

The bike has been protagonist called Drawing Contest IV among schoolchildren by the city of Murcia, by the Local Agency for Energy and Climate Change.

The call, framed in the context of the European Mobility Week which was held in September, whose central theme was "part: Move in the Good Management" aims to contribute to an education where the words sustainable mobility, climate change and energy renewables are part of everyday life.

It also aims to sensitize school children about climate change, making them aware that the solution lies in the use of renewable energy and sustainable mobility.

In this context, the event this year has revolved around the bike and she invited students to express in a drawing their proposals on two ideas: Teach as would be your perfect ride!

All first place winners received a bicycle, helmet, easel and paint batch, while the second and third have won a lot of paintings and recyclable bags.

The contest is sponsored by IKEA and Decathlon.
