The Mayor joined the residents of Murcia in his tribute to Adolfo Lopez, one of the promoters of the municipality citizen movement (29/05/2013)

Mari Carmen Cambronero, widow of Adolfo Lopez, has been the main protagonist of the ceremony held this morning at City Hall by the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of the Municipality of Murcia, which has been attended by the Mayor, Miguel Angel House.

Adolfo Lopez, who for many years chaired the San Lorenzo-University Partnership, "knew well the daily struggle disinterested neighborhood movement," said Jose Luis Marco, president of the Federation, who also handed over a memento to the Mayor in recognition of their support and collaboration with neighborhood associations in the municipality.

Chamber recalled the figure of Adolfo Lopez, who has said he "always carried the flag of citizen participation and commitment to Murcia."

Cultural activities, sports and games that are part of the program of events designed to celebrate European Neighbours Day began last Monday and last until Saturday.
