The Senate of the University of Murcia approved the grant of honorary doctor Placido Domingo, Antonio Lopez and Claudio Magris (28/05/2013)

The Faculty of the University of Murcia today approved the grant of honorary doctorate to tenor Placido Domingo, the painter Antonio Lopez and Italian thinker and writer Claudio Magris and the gold medal posthumously institution Antonio Perez Crespo, president the autonomic entity.

During the regular session of the Senate, was read the Report of the University Ombudsperson by its owner, José Palazón, and the reports of the Commissions of Quality, Academic and General Honors Scholarship, and the Secretary of the Law Commission.

At the beginning of the session, the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, presented its report, which lists all developments in the university community since the last Senate.
