The power of the bicycle as a tool to "reinvent life" is the focus of the intervention has been the Mayor of Murcia and president of the Spanish Network of Cities for Bicycle, Miguel Angel House, World Congress of Cities and Territories Cycling to be held in Nice from next Wednesday.

The papers in this session address issues such as what actions locally in the cities of Europe, America, Asia, and Africa can drive to promote cycling, cycling which national policies are being made now or what policies can lead out for the development of the bike, thinking globally and acting locally.
For three days, Nice will be the focus for discussion of issues related to urban bicycle use, both for leisure and for mobility.
The envisaged cover areas such as the combination of modes of transport, the promotion of alternative mobility solutions, the perspective of community networks and innovation plus workshops, exhibitions and cultural activities related to the bicycle.
