The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, has been invited to participate as a speaker at the Congress of Cities and Territories representing Cycling Spanish municipalities.
The event, to be held in Nice from 29 to 31 May, is organized by the Metropolitan Nice Côte d'Azur and will run under the slogan "The bicycle, local and global instrument to reinvent life."
House, president of the Spanish Network of Cities for Bicycle, participate in this 20th edition of the conference with mayors and leaders of transport and mobility policies of cities in France, United States, Japan, Mexico, Poland, China, Colombia, Italy or Belgium.
Along with Miguel Angel House, will be present in the French capital representatives of cooperation networks in the territories for the bike, incorporated in May 2011, including Vélo Québec (Canada), the League of American Bicyclists (U.S. .), the Ciclovías the Americas (Latin America and North America), the Polish Union of active / Mobility PUMA (Poland) as well as representatives of the cities and towns of cycling in Africa Asia, Europe and America.
For three days, Nice will be the focus for discussion of issues related to urban bicycle use, both for leisure and for mobility.
The envisaged cover areas such as the combination of modes of transport, the promotion of alternative mobility solutions, the perspective of community networks and innovation plus workshops, exhibitions and cultural activities related to the bicycle.
