Paisaje.UM versus Sierra de la Muela and Cape Tiñoso (21/05/2013)

Today was presented at the rectory exposure "versus Paisaje.UM Sierra de la Muela and Cape Tiñoso sixth installment of a collaborative project between the University of Murcia, measured DG Environment and Cajamurcia Foundation, which seeks to bring Murcia to the immediate reality: its landscape.

The initiative tries to match artistic creation, management culturan natural for our landscapes and to know how they are seen and understood by young artists in training at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Murcia.

The exhibition can be seen at the Cultural Hall of Cehegín from 22 May to 5 June, then travel to other municipalities of Murcia.

The works are designed and created from the artists have visited the Natural Proegido of La Muela, Cabo Tiñoso.

The exhibition is curated by Maria Victoria Sanchez and Francisco Giner Ñiguez Cabonell, teachers and Landscape Painting deBellas Arts Faculty of the University of Murcia, and involves a total of 42 students of this subject.

The exhibition is a collaboration initiated in 2007 between the Department of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity, Cajamurcia and the subject of landscape at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Murcia, with the aim of introducing students, future artists, knowledge of the natural values ​​of this region.

The inauguration was attended by the Vice Chancellor of University Extension and Electronic Administration, the Director General of Environment, Amador Lopez Garcia and the Director General of the Foundation Cajamurcia, Pascual Martinez.

Chezner Victoria, one of the curators of the exhibition presenting thanked the participating entities shown interest in each issue and stated "Every year is a new illusion on the part of the students."

"Our landscapes, our colors are a unique blend with a lot of interaction and blending of nature and man through the centuries."

Meanwhile, Pascual Martinez Cajamurcia Foundation, said that this initiative "une diffusion of culture, the promotion of teaching and advocacy of environmental values ​​that treasures our region."

"Painters of Fine Arts, he added, have interpreted these landscapes and put them before our eyes."

In line dedicated to protected natural areas staff of this Department guides the teachers and students of the subject of landscape on its journey through these different spaces and transmits them knowledge of their flora, fauna, geology and history.

With this information, the pictorial interest charges, it gives meaning and can act as a communicator and sensitizer.
