The Socialist Group PP required to fulfill its obligation and appropriate to preserve and protect the site of St. Stephen (21/05/2013)

PSOE spokesman, Pedro Lopez, accompanied by Andrea Garries councilors and Sea Rose, and members of the Friends of St. Stephen, visited this morning the site of St. Stephen to denounce poor conditions in situ and unstoppable deterioration of archaeological remains.

Therefore, the Socialists will file a motion in Parliament this month demanding the municipal PP fulfill its commitment and appropriate to preserve and protect the site of St. Stephen, as established by the Law on Cultural Heritage of the Region of Murcia.

In addition, the PSOE spokesman has announced that will hold a meeting with HUERMUR for this partnership will report on the complaint filed with the Office for breaching the conditions of actual maintenance and preservation of historical heritage by the City of Murcia and the Directorate General of Fine Arts and Cultural Assets.
