The local residents of the Holy Spirit will learn techniques to be kinder to the environment (14/05/2013)

The local residents of the Holy Spirit will be more respectful of the environment.

This initiative intends to carry out awareness campaigns on improving the urban environment and waste reduction, improving the living conditions of the environment, open spaces remodeling and improvement of environmental quality or solid waste recycling at source.

Other courses will address the reduction of energy consumption and water savings, with the aim of increasing education and public awareness about good practices related to environmental protection.

Besides energy questionnaires will be disseminated among the public self-evaluation in order to improve the efficiency of energy and water resources of the houses.

So the objective of this Action Plan is as follows:

- Raise awareness of recycling waste from its origin, transforming and empowering their creativity emerging through multiple applications of training, communication, awareness and prevention related to improving solid waste management, domestic, industrial, and urban immaterial the neighborhood in order to improve the conditions of health and habitability.

- To promote respectful attitudes and awareness among local people in reducing noise levels and noise pollution, promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging positive effects at individual and group by raising awareness of the possible consequences.

- Develop public awareness practices that contribute to the rationalization and reduction of energy consumption and save water in homes.

- Search the crosscutting between culture, urban environment, education and citizen participation in all activities undertaken.
