The table of the Market Beef Mercamurcia Agricultural participated this week, for the first time as a member, on the Board of National Rates Beef Cattle Market.
This Board Prices, composed Mercolleida Lonja, Mercabarna, the Cattle Market Talavera de la Reina and Valencia and basin operators, with the addition of Mercamurcia, and represents the main operators of production, industrialization and Marketing beef sector of the state.

The prices fixed by them are referred to sales transactions between producers, manufacturers and marketers.
The National Price Board Beef Cattle Market holds weekly meetings which sets the reference prices of cattle at the state level.
These meetings are face in Mercolleida and through videoconferencing with simultaneous connections between Barcelona, ​​Talavera de la Reina, Valencia and, since yesterday, Murcia.
The members of the different slices have information, prepared by experts, to get an overview of the state of the markets, both domestic and foreign.
In 2012 the Spanish beef sector produced 600,000 tons of meat from, by 33%, in the downtown area, 20% of the area of ​​Catalonia, 8% to the south and the remaining 8% to Valencia and Murcia.
