The Socialist Party calls for the immediate withdrawal of the barracks adjacent to the nursery of La Paz landslide hazard (09/05/2013)

The mayor Mar Rosa checked the sorry state of the barracks that, according to the company owner, could break down due to theft of its structure

The socialist mayor this week Mar Rosa visited the barracks adjacent to the nursery of La Paz, on Bacons Bridge Road, and saw the sorry state of the same: broken doors, ceilings, windows torn and full of dirt and debris.

Also, something of particular concern to the PSOE councilor is that, according to the company that owns the barracks, which can not be removed without permission of the City-they present danger of collapse due to the theft of part of its structure.

Therefore, Mar Rosa requires the local government to grant permission needed by the company to remove them immediately before they will come down and may cause some misfortune in the area.

"The municipal PP should give an immediate solution to this problem," insists the socialist mayor, who recalls that the promoter Lopez Gates was the one who hired more than five years ago to move these barracks to the La Paz, something that did not occur fortunately.

To be paralyzed his project-ends Mar Rosa-they were left on a municipal site and, at present, the company needs the permission of the City in order to remove them.
