"PROACTIVE" is the title of the photo exhibition of Maria Jose Prisons as set forth in the General Library of the University of Murcia in Espinardo.
The exhibition will be open until the 27th May.
PROACTIVE With the title, the artist pays tribute to women around the world, especially those who have left their environment, habitat and have to start over elsewhere, facing new obstacles.
PROACTIVE are all women, especially those who are willing to step forward, moving to getting what you want in a social equality, acting locally to thinking globally.
Stop being secondary actresses in the movie of life to become protagonists.
This exhibition, the first of the series PROACTIVE, is dedicated to Japanese women in the Region of Murcia and artists ONO-O-DAIKO, women playing the O-DAIKO or giant drums.
The photographs in the sample are made natural, without artifice, in their everyday environments.
In the opening ceremony, held on Monday May 7, participated José Antonio Gómez Hernández, Coordinator of Culture at the University of Murcia and Maria Dolores Moreno Fernández, Head of Library Espinardo Campus of the University of Murcia.
The exhibition is also supported by MAV, Women in Visual Arts and SGRM, Geographical Society of the Region of Murcia.
The inauguration was also attended by representatives of the Japanese community in Murcia and Fotoestenopeica Association members Murcia.
María José is a professional Prisons Media and Audiovisual media, visual artist, Vice President of the Geographical Society of the Region of Murcia, has directed the magazines ARTVDIGITAL ARTLOFT and directs short films, is a professor of visual, has a book published interviews with cultural figures, presents art and culture events, is prologue book, leads the press office of the SGRM, has given several lectures on women and exposes art photography.
