The City will continue to drive the expansion, unification and information from the municipal social assistance in housing (25/04/2013)

The full City Council has passed a motion (with votes in favor of PP, voting against PSOE and IU and UPyD abstaining) to continue work on housing.

The motion is an alternative to another proposal by the Municipal Unit Left-Greens.

The motion passed as follows:

"The Local Government will continue to promote the measures already taken in extension, unification and information from all municipal social assistance for families Murcia.

Urge the competent authorities to take further legal measures to ensure the fulfillment of the social function of housing ".

Moreover, the House also approved unanimously urge the Autonomous Community to expand the school meals service in the holiday period.
