The feasibility study tram connection with El Carmen will be ready in seven months (10/04/2013)

Connecting Line 1 tram with Carmen district takes another step.

The Governing Board has given its approval to the award of the Feasibility Study for the connection of the existing tram line 1 from the Plaza Circular to Station de El Carmen, in favor of the Joint Venture formed by TRN Engineering and Mecsa .

In total there have been thirteen deals of which two were rejected for lack of technical report.

Although the offer presented by this joint venture was the second technically, is positioned as the first economically, reducing by 35% the initial budget.

So, this feasibility study is a cost of 95,364 euros, when the planned investment amounted to 150,000 euros.
