Township Three green spaces significantly improve their appearance to give more comfort to the neighbors, with new trees and playground equipment and benches.
These are the gardens of San Anton New Street, Avenida Marques de Espinardo and La Cueva de Monteagudo.
The Department of the Environment, headed Adela Martinez-Cachá, allocated an investment of 161,000 euros to carry out these works.
New Garden Street in San Anton
The action envisaged in the garden between New Street and San Anton Street Umbrete is motivated request of the neighbors, who have claimed some improvement in this green space and has moved to the Municipal Board.
The council, true to the spirit of serving the needs of Murcia, is undertaking this project that will transform significantly this area and will provide more playgrounds, as well as new trees.
The actions are specified in the replacement of existing trees (tipuanas), which had caused damage to the road surface, mulberry.

Garden of Avenida Marques de Espinardo
In the Garden of Avenida Marques de Espinardo, the work will consist of the replacement of trees on the sidewalk, as some of them are crooked and cause discomfort to other houses nearby.
In this case, Schinus terebinthifolius (pink pepper Turbintos or) are changed by orange existing.
An existing parterre garden part is removed and pave and two areas where rail beams are installed.
The project envisages an investment of 16,450 euros, to run within two months.
Garden of La Cueva in Monteagudo
In the garden of La Cueva de Monteagudo, at the request of the President of the Municipal Board, will be installed three new playgrounds, in addition to the five existing ones.
The area will be equipped with rubber floor and perimeter fencing as well as two banks and two chairs and wastebaskets.
Are incorporated new green ficus and mulberry, with corresponding irrigation network at the perimeter of the garden, in order to generate more shaded area.
The planned investment in this work is of 59,500 euros, with a lead time of four months.
