The Chacour Edmundo Theatre Festival this year will be devoted to "Women in Art" (09/04/2013)

Beniaján Auditorium reopens after conducting a series of reforms, with the sample XI Chacour Edmundo Theatre, dedicated in 2013 to the "Women in Art".

This show is another example of the continuity that, since 2002, has been carried out by the dedication to the theater and the arts as teaching and promoting a primary role of youth.

The show kicks off on Thursday, April 11, and runs until May 3.

Throughout the development of the activities are provided a multidisciplinary artistic creation workshop (from 15 to 19 April), a child building workshop (from 22 to 25 April), a roundtable of literature around the figure of Gabriela Mistral, which will be attended by various writers and teachers as Pascual Garcia, Harry Marcus, Joseph Cantabella and Claudia Sousa (on April 17).

For the April 18 will host a panel discussion on "Women in the current building," moderated by M ÂŞ Angeles Legaz Dominguez, equal agent of the City of Murcia.

This roundtable will be held the screening of the documentary "And there is still time for festivals", written and directed by Mabel Lozano.

Also will screen the short film "The Rising" national premiere, directed and written by and starring Mabel Lozano Macarena García, recently awarded the Goya for Best Actress for her role in the movie "Snow White".

The show will continue with concerts and theatrical activities on April 26, 2 and 3 May.

Using group representation Disturbance Theater, which presents "Laurel and Hardy" and the play "Maruja Mallo, rebellion" by Edmundo Chacour Theatre.

Rounding acts a poetry and music by Clara Plath "sonic cherries in water."

Moreover, within the range of activities Beniaján Auditorium, from April 11, when you restart the activity, will be held the following performances and events:

- On April 20, Saturday, the National Band Festival XXXIV Beniaján, organized by the Association of Musical Beniaján.

- On April 21, Sunday, the show "Kurt Weill in Youkali" with Gloria Sanchez, soprano, and Franscisco Orta, piano, honoring the creation of the German musician.

- On April 27, Saturday, the Young Soloists Cycle VI.

Perdu Naira concert piano.

- On May 4, Saturday, Cycle VI Young Soloists.

Concert Cánovas and Silvia Amparo Cano on violin and Natascha Gyaurova, the piano.

- On May 18, Saturday, Elizabeth Labella Company will stage "silent Steps" (Contemporary Dance).

- On June 1, Saturday, festival-school bands Beniaján.

- From 10 to 16 June, I Theatre Festival of Cultural Centers of Murcia "Among racks".

- Finally, on 21, 22 and 23 June, final acts of course Beniaján School Musical, which will conclude with the final concert of course Instrumental Ensemble and Band-School Music Association of Beniaján
