The exhibition "When the earth shakes: Volcanoes and Earthquakes," which features the Museum of Science and Water has aimed, since its opening last month of December 2012, a deeper understanding of these natural phenomena, both scare us, they know that, however, the planet lives in constant activity.
This temporary exhibition presented by the museum, have added a number of complementary activities (workshops, lectures and guided tours) to delve deeper into the volcanoes and earthquakes.
The Museum of Science and Water wanted to go further, and has been released to comic books to explain differently and bring these natural phenomena.
It is more than known that the comic is a medium that facilitates understanding of certain issues, and that the relationship that make youth and adolescents with reality content to be shown is more than imminent.
With the comic develops enriching creativity, because it is a land run by our youth that generates no monotony or boredom.
Thus, under the premises of entertainment and leisure, in the Museum of Science and Water we offer smaller with a new means to explain natural phenomena and what effects lead in the world and in humans, the while learning to respect and care for the planet we live.
A total of 2,500 copies were published comic book, which will be delivered free of charge to teachers engaged with students visiting the Museum of Science and Water of Murcia.
The exhibition that the Museum has made travel first to the IES Miguel de Cervantes de Murcia and then will be in the Ramón Arcas of Lorca.
