The IU-Greens councilor in the city of Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, today has claimed the mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, who publicly expose the West Park project on the occasion of the award to the author, Toyo Oto, Pritzker Prize 2013 Nobel equivalent in the field of architecture.

For IU-Greens, the "abandonment" of the West Park project due to their high cost in time of crisis "contradicts with the approval of the Special Plan of El Carmen in May 2010, including the underground, despite of being in another phase water crisis ".
