Teatro Circo Murcia keep Pepe Lucas exposure in homage to Joseph Tamayo until after the Spring Festival.

Joseph Lucas (Cieza, 1945) draw and paint from an early age, thanks to classes receiving the sculptor Juan Solano.

Study at the School of Arts and Crafts in Murcia, first, to continue at the Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.

In Madrid he settled in 1969.

Soon frequents gatherings and meetings with writers and painters of the time, which portrays with remarkable ease.

He lives a year in Germany, receiving the influence of Abstract Expressionism, which joins the painters as Luis García Ochoa and Francisco González Mateos.

He has won numerous awards for painting and exhibitions inside and outside Spain.

Besides illustrating books and journals, in recent years highlighted its dedication to the theater, being the designer of Fine Arts Theatre directed by José Tamayo.
