The Socialist Group announces an emergency motion to prevent the evictees have to pay the city tax of goodwill (18/03/2013)

Socialist spokesman in the city of Murcia, Pedro Lopez, considered "morally wrong" that a person who loses their home affected by a process of eviction have to pay capital gains, especially since the bank is exempt from the property tax to pierce to 'bad bank'

The Socialist Group will submit an emergency motion at the next plenary after learning that evicted persons who lose their home to foreclosure or foreclosed are facing municipal tax "goodwill" while on the other hand are exempt from that tax banks to cross that same home called 'bad bank'.

For the Socialist spokesman, Pedro Lopez, is an absolute immorality demonstrating the perversity of the system and therefore pose a motion Thursday to end this social injustice in the municipality of Murcia, as there is no exemption in the statutes City prosecutors for these cases in the Tax Increment Value of Urban Land, popularly known as "goodwill".

Therefore, advances Lopez, the Socialist Group will ask the House to be directed to the Central Government to amend the Local Finance Law and thus end this injustice.

In addition, the socialists will claim in the motion of urgency the creation of a social fund to meet this payment of those evicted until you change the local tax law.
