IU-Greens submitted to the House of the municipal board of St. Pius X, which will take place on Monday, a motion requesting the urge owners of the ships abandoned industrial area or walled settlement of the same.
The voice of IU-Greens, John David Babyack, signer of the initiative, also request to determine the responsibility of cleaning up a space between two of the ships, where it accumulates lots of weeds, debris and trash.
Babyack explained that the industrial area of ​​St. Pius X has been classified within the General Urban Plan of Murcia as special internal reform plan, which includes the construction of 180 homes, but due to the crisis the project has been postponed.
This has led to the abandonment of many ships, which over time have accumulated garbage, which is a public health hazard and fire, and windowpanes have gone to public roads, thus risk to pedestrians and vehicles.
