Councilwoman Andrea Garries complaint that five years after the removal of level crossings from Alquerías to San Jose de la Vega, neighbors continue to suffer neglect and abandonment of these areas which accumulates weeds, dirt and where rodents proliferate

The mayor of the Socialist Group Andrea Garries require the local PP in plenary next week, urgently, to coordinate the necessary mechanisms to address the cleanup of the former rail corridor from Alquerías to San Jose de la Vega.

And according Garries, thousands of residents who have seen since 2008 have been eliminated level crossings in the town center, a fact that undoubtedly has improved life in these districts, but also has created a major problem of neglect and deterioration, both in the old rail corridor, as in the halts now unused.

It is incomprehensible denounces the PSOE councilor-five years after the suppression of the trains passing through the center of these districts and, after several promises made and not kept, the residents continue to suffer the absolute abandonment of these areas where it grows weeds, dirt and rodents proliferate, with the serious problems that these circumstances create unsafe.

"We hope that with this motion, the PP Municipal perform urgent cleaning these areas to meet the neighbors," he concludes.
