The Governing Board has given the green light this morning specifications to hire the service of maintaining the horizontal and vertical signs by which people carry out farm work, application, storage, maintenance, modification, deletion, creation and installation of traffic signing and road marking on the road network in the municipality of Murcia whose competence corresponds to the Council and in accordance with current regulations.
This service will perform work related to the conservation and maintenance of the existing signage in relation to both the vertical and the horizontal, as replenish, replace or modify signals, removing damaged signals and transport to storage or landfill, remove debris poles, clean, repair, straighten, rotate, enhance ... or repaint signals, milling, wash or alter any road marking.
The Contractor shall provide in Murcia, at a maximum distance of 10 kilometers from the center of town, a local media (phone and fax) necessary for receiving orders, or documentation of the work done, and as storage machinery, vehicles, spare parts, tools, and the stock of material necessary for the proper execution of the service.
Also must maintain permanently, at least two teams of each of three operators with vehicle, machinery, tools and materials to perform work related to both horizontal and vertical signaling.
Additionally the contractor, within 48 hours from the notice, the City will provide a total of three additional teams each composed of three operators.
The vertical marking work performed during the day and open in the morning and afternoon.
The road marking work will be performed during peak hours and during the day or night, not being able to do the job of being examined for adverse weather.
The works will be carried out within time limits depending on the need for speed in delivery as follows:
A) Emergencies: immediate realization.
B) Very Urgent: A run in within 24 hours.
C) Urgent: A run on the maximum period of 2 days.
D) Required: A run on the maximum period of 7 days.
E) Normal: A run on the maximum period of 15 days.
F) Exceptional: A run in periods longer than 15 days.
The duration of the contract resulting from the award of the tender will be 2 years from the date of execution thereof, which may be extended for 2 additional years.
The budget is 1.2 million euros.
