Councilwoman Urban Quality and Infrastructure, Ana Martinez Vidal, technical and its council met this morning with representatives of the twelve hotel establishments located in the vicinity of the Cathedral, in the Plaza del Cardenal Belluga like Square the Apostles.
The meeting was convened to inform owners of the premises of the City Council initiative to establish a common design elements of both squares shaded area (either awnings or umbrellas) so that this environment to improve its image.
They also explained that they will hold a competition of ideas, through an agreement, in order to find a quilt whose design element is installed in all these places.
So, be scored cheaper designs, practical and even the participants themselves in their studies proposed funding streams.
The installation of new awnings will be done within a period of a year and a half.
Moreover Councilwoman reminded them that all hoteliers to promote this initiative will benefit from a bonus of 50% in the municipal fee for installation of terraces.
After the Spring Festival Councilwoman reconvene a meeting to inform them of the terms of this competition of ideas that restaurateurs can provide suggestions and is the result of consensus.
