The painter Murcia Nono Garcia prepare the official poster of the next V Meatloaf Day (06/03/2013)

The author has received several prestigious international awards for their creations. |

The Association of Friends of Meatloaf has commissioned the renowned painter Nono García Murcia drawing poster announcing the V Day Meatloaf party that has become one of the most massive of the Spring Festival.

The V Meatloaf Day will be held on Wednesday, April 3 in the afternoon Belluga Square, a day after the Bando de la Huerta.

This great party, which emerged as the most popular tribute to Murcia gastronomic specialty, has brought in its previous editions thousands of citizens and tourists.

In each of the past editions have been distributed over 10,000 free cakes, accompanied by thousands of liters of beer donated by Estrella de Levante.

The festival is sponsored by the daily La Verdad and La Opinión de Murcia.

Choosing Nono Garcia, who also authored the Fair Poster Murcia 2011, is a tribute to the young artist, who notes, as noted by the prestigious French publication des Arts Practice for the monochrome of his works, the application of color, light treatment, the sublime poetry of everyday objects, brushwork and secure way to store in a nearly empty box intentionally areas alongside other with abundant pigment and a perfect complement.

Mula Nono García was born in 1972 and studied at the School of Arts and Crafts of Murcia, in addition to numerous courses with internationally recognized artists such as Antonio Lopez Garcia, Pedro Cano or FCG.

Throughout the last year participated in the International Watercolor Biennial at Museo della Carta.

Fabriano, in addition to presenting several solo exhibitions, among which are the still air in the Gallery Cervantes, Oviedo, and Matter weightless, in Lopez Pictures Gallery, Murcia.

In 2011 also made its submission in the Bystanders Gabarrón Foundation, in New York.

His career highlights its participation in various international fairs: Artexpo.

His expertise has led to the granting of numerous awards, among them the International Prize Toledo Puche, Painting Competition Award of Melilla, the Painting Prize Villa de Comillas Prize Cehegín Old Town, the Hoya I Contest Gonzalo de Albacete, among others.

He was also selected in the II International Biennial of watercolor Fabriano (Italy) 2012 and obtained the Fellowship of artistic production, Painted House Foundation 2010.

Nono García's work is distributed in various public and private institutions around the world, as well as prominent private collections.
