The Socialist Group PP propose to negotiate with concessionaires to enable public parking spaces to park bikes (06/03/2013)

The mayor Susana Hernandez Socialist Group will apply in Parliament next month to PP municipal open a negotiation process with the concessionaires of public car parks to enable bicycle parking spaces.

"We are talking about the possibility of having a number of places in public concession parking spaces drawing dead or even enabling some bicycle parking spaces to make them," said Hernandez, adding that "this will allow users to leave their bikes in places monitored avoiding theft. "

The PSOE mayor recalled that this formula already used in other cities such as Albacete, where three underground parking will create 45 places for bikes, having users pay a monthly fee of 10 euros for the use of padlocks
