Mercamurcia held this morning the first Board of Directors of the year, which were valued marketing results and Slaughterhouse Food Unit, in addition to the investments planned for the current year.
In this first year council has analyzed the results of the progress of the Food Unit in 2012, highlighting the results of the Fruit and Vegetable Market, which increased by 3.49% trading volume for the year 2011 .
Slaughterhouse results were, however, a negative-7.67% less volume of sacrifice-because, among other factors, to a decrease in consumption, which has been losing market share for some of the wholesalers .
In the chapter on investments are reported to the board of the change in fuel type steam boilers slaughterhouse and other facilities.
Natural gas is used, taking advantage of the passage of a new pipeline in the vicinity of the Food Unit.
The diesel fuel is currently used and this will represent a saving of 50% on the cost, avoid having to have storage tanks and substantially reduced emissions.
Have been adopted in this tip fees for different services of the Food Unit, in force for this year 2013.
The council also have made the annual accounts of the company to present at the next Annual General Meeting.
