Displaced in an illegal settlement in the living Patiño 40 people (04/03/2013)

The collaboration between the departments of Social Welfare, and Urban Safety has allowed evict slum settlement situated in the Gallegos Lane in the hamlet of Patiño.

About 40 people have left Bulgarian fifteen this morning in slums and slum dwelling to return to his country.

Now the owners of the land are in the process of cleaning the area once it has been vacated.

This case began in late 2011 when, following a health inspection, it was found that trash, debris and other items accumulated there posed a risk to public health.

Municipal services attended and the General Directorate of Cadastre for the name of the owners of the plots and to communicate the situation but mismatch slowed the process.

Last week, after being told the owners of the lots, we proceeded to warn the residents of these slums that have voluntarily evacuated the area.

Since the establishment of the Bureau of Labor and Security Assistance illegal settlements, in January 2012, the City has proceeded to the eviction of eleven shantytowns.

The aim with this workshop is that there is a body that controls these settlements, protect minors if any, and avoid unhealthy and insecurity problems affecting both members of these settlements as neighbors

This City Council seeks to meet the demands that are received alerting neighborhood of both security issues of unhealthiness that sometimes occur in the local environment caused by these population centers
