The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, this morning attended a breakfast organized by the Federation of Senior Citizens Centres Municipality of Murcia, where the candidates have been presented to Senior Queen 2013.
In this new edition were presented 32 candidates, associated with senior centers in their respective districts.
With the mayor, attended the meeting the Deputy Mayor of Health and Social Welfare, Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, Councilwoman Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, and President of the Federation of Senior Centers, Simon Martinez Párraga .
After breakfast, which took place at the Hotel Seven Crowns of Murcia, the contestants, the judges and members of the Federation of Senior Centers have moved to Cartagena to share a day together and visit the Regional Assembly and the City Council this city.
Choosing Senior Queen 2013 and her four bridesmaids will be held on the 9th, during a dinner to be held at the Meson La Torre, Bacons Bridge.
Since then, and throughout the year, the five players will have their activities of the largest in the municipality, whether festivals, cultural weeks, etc.
