Murcia will have a rental system of electric motorcycles by the end of the year (30/01/2013)

The Department of Environment, in collaboration with the Trade and Enterprise, the project will develop Electra which is based on the promotion of public rental electric motorcycles in urban areas.

What is sought with this initiative is to conduct the feasibility study of a public electric motorcycle rental for future implementation.

The project duration is 30 months.

The study should be presented in the first half of this year and will be held in collaboration with other cities of Italy, Slovenia, Malta, Portugal, Croatia and Greece.

Once this feasibility study will start the motorcycle rental system before the end of 2013

Murcia's budget is financed by the European Union through the European Programme Service.

Implementation of the project will be borne by the Local Energy Agency dependent Hall Department of Environment.
