The Association of Friends of the Botanical Garden of Murcia has organized an exhibition, which will be open at the Cultural Center Garcia Alix until spring to raise awareness of the project they are developing on the Malecon.
Through a series of posters seeking the neighbors of San Antolin and other retail areas know the details of the initiative and garden history.
The exhibition tells the story of the garden, which celebrates its 175th anniversary, the most typical trees of the garden, and the restoration and educational space for botany being made in the two beds assigned by the Department of Environment.
This activity is performed thanks to an agreement between the Friends of the Botanical Gardens and the Department of Environment, with the help of the Green Office, the Vice President for Students and Employment at the University of Murcia, Anse and the support of organizations such as the College Biologists Officer of the Region of Murcia, Alfonso X the Wise Institute or CEME Centre for the Study of Educational Memory, University of Murcia.
