IU-Greens consider that irregular Local Youth Council take over the owl-bus (22/01/2013)

The head of the Department of Youth IU-Greens of Murcia, John David Babyack, today considered "not normal" that the Local Youth Council takes over the management of the owl-bus, considering that it is a service public "should take over the City."

To Babyack, this proposal the local Youth Council "to step back out of PP to try to save his disastrous management taking charge of a service that far exceeds the powers and possibilities of the juvenile court."

It has also indicated that if the public service "should have the appropriate permits from the autonomous region, and if it is a private means the Council would be taking responsibility, including liability for what may happen to it, something I do not know if it even has been rated "said".

"We do not know under what budget is going to manage this service, what criteria have been developed and proposed routes if only to constrain the young, as the owl-bus could be used by all users."

Babyack also criticized the fact that the service is associated with alcohol consumption in certain locations to lower the price of the ticket.

"The City of Murcia still offer young people an alternative to leisure consumption. Rivas advocates locals take to consume alcohol, and then washed consciousness by a sign in the Bando de la Huerta to encourage consumption responsible. "

It also noted that "after the continuous fluctuations and chaos in public transport, has been amply demonstrated the utter incompetence of Councillor for Transport, Javier Iniesta, and no concern that the young people of Murcia have efficient public service and save us having to resort to the car to enjoy our leisure time or go to work or school.
