Murcia has become the city with the highest taxes in Spain (11/01/2013)

According to data from tax Rankig Spanish municipalities issued yesterday, Murcia companies pay IAE highest in the country, the second most expensive in Spain IBI followed in third place ICIO and the estate tax and the fourth Car Seal

The Socialist Party councilor Juan Patricio Castro regrets that Murcia occupies first place in the ranking of the municipalities in the country pay more taxes.

This is confirmed by data released yesterday by the Tax Ranking of Spanish municipalities Murcia which put the head in the payment of the Tax on Economic Activities (IAE).

Following the data of this report, citizens of Murcia pay the second IBI (property tax) more expensive in Spain, Malaga alone behind and ahead of Sevilla, Valencia, Madrid, Barcelona and Zaragoza.

Regarding ICIO Tax (Building and Construction), the municipality has the third place, behind Madrid and Malaga, and ahead of Sevilla, Valencia, Zaragoza and Barcelona, as well as with the capital gains tax (tax increasing the value of urban land).

The Murcia occupy the fourth position when the car pay the stamp (Tax Motor Vehicle), ahead of Sevilla, Zaragoza and Valencia.

Only Malaga, Barcelona and Madrid pay this tax more expensive.

Highest taxes and worst services

For Castro, this is confirmation of the bad management that the PP is doing in La Glorieta, inflicting severe punishment to citizens with uploads indiscriminate, regressive tax and intolerable.

A reality that, according to the mayor of the PSOE, has nothing to do with the quality of services that the City provides its citizens in terms of public transport, social services, culture, education, cleaning and maintenance, to name a few .

In addition, Castro says this ranking position that holds Murcia tax does not favor the revival of economic activity, when the municipality is losing forced marches retail and ALCAZA unemployment figure of over 45,000 unemployed.
