The Guardia Civil Murcia has developed an investigation into drug trafficking in a greenhouse that has dismantled clandestine production of large-scale marijuana Sangonera la Seca-Murcia.
As part of the research has arrested the person who ran the plantation, on suspicion of a crime against public health (drug trafficking) and crime against property by fraud of electricity.
The action is framed within prevention services of public safety that the Guardia Civil has been doing in the region for drug prevention by detecting points of sale, distribution and cultivation / production of narcotics.
The Civil Guard began investigating after receiving reports of fraudulent connection to street lighting had left without power, for its excessive consumption, many homes in the town of Sangonera la Seca-Murcia
Suspecting that this fact could be related to the existence of an illegal plantation of "marijuana"-which often require heat generating facilities that carry a major-power consumption, the agents conducted, prior judicial authorization, the corresponding entry and search of the apartment, which confirmed that the owner had installed an underground greenhouse dedicated to growing marijuana.
For such events to the arrest of a person for a crime against public health (cultivation / production of drugs) and other crime of embezzlement of electricity, since it was found that the building and the existing plantation inside were being supplied with an illegal attachment general supply network.

In the house was under investigation a greenhouse clandestine marijuana production, distributed in various rooms of the house for the various stages of the process, as the crop irrigated with sophisticated elements, lighting and heat, harvesting and drying with useful ventilation, and manufactured to make small plants.
Arrested:
The investigation culminated in the arrest of a person on suspicion of a crime against public health and other crimes against property by fraud of electricity, identified as:
- Spanish, 40-year-old neighbor Sangonera la Seca.
The detainee has a criminal record for committing similar crimes.
Substances seized:
In the greenhouse dismantled clandestine been apprehended 752 marijuana plants in various stages of production.
In practiced entering and searching have also seized a large and complex wiring, lighting equipment and refrigeration equipment, fertilizers, all used for the development of the illegal activity.
The arrested, drugs seized, confiscated effects and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Police Court of Murcia.
