Mandarache Triathlon School presents its report and trophies (20/12/2012)

Mandarache Triathlon School presents its report tomorrow and the trophies won during the 2012 season, among them six leagues of triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon, three of them in the men's and women's league prebenjamín and aquathlon in male juvenile category.

The presentation will take place at 13.45 am in the Civic Center of Santiago and Zaraiche, and will be attended by the President of the Municipal Board of the neighborhood, José María Puigcerver, and members of the school.

This school belongs to Cartagena and Athletics Club based in the village of Santiago and Zaraiche, is the only one in Murcia, and has complied in 2012 his second year at the regional picture, making that season consolidate its project, expand the number of members and increase their triumphs in competitions through the efforts of the athletes and crew.

The roster of members of the School has grown steadily since school started with 22 and now has 34, which represents a dramatic increase.

It has also strengthened the technical team with a new coach, a specialist in swimming, so this project already has three technicians.

The members of the School have achieved 62 Mandarache Triathlon podium in 14 official events in the region, Albacete and Alicante: 25 firsts, 16 seconds and 21 third, in addition to achieving two spots in School Sport duathlon and triathlon.

The primary objective is to improve the quality of training of school sports and their parents, to the maximum extend this teaching in our society and finally achieve athletic success as these.

Technically, this school has opted for quality of their technical training so as to transmit the same lines to their athletes.

The coaching staff consists of: Esteban Sánchez (principal, coach Level II triathlon, runner-up to the national team in 1993 and firefighter cuadriatlón the City of Murcia), Miriam Garcia (Bachelor of Physical Education, with different specialty sports, triathlon and judge waterpolo player) and David Gil (primary school teacher and swim coach level II).
