The president of the San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), Jose Luis Mendoza, accompanied by the Director of Sports Activities Service of UCAM, Paul Rosique, this afternoon attended the Gala commemorating the hundred year history of the Committee Spanish Olympic.
The event, which was held at the headquarters of the Madrid Canal Theatre, has enjoyed the presence of HRH Prince Philip, who has come on behalf of the Royal Family.
The event has also been attended by numerous personalities from the world of sport.
Notably, the Catholic University of Murcia has fought strongly for being college sports with its unconditional support for it, either through sponsorships, partnerships or developing college scholarships that allow athletes to combine their sport with their studies.
Proof of this is the recognition that the university received last December 5th through the National Sports Award, Trophy Joaquín Blume.
