Yesterday was held in the Auditorium and Congress Palace of Murcia Sports Gala 2012, in which multiple teams and athletes from the UCAM received various awards.

Among other distinctions, the UCAM varsity won the award for Best Team.

The ceremony was attended by President of the University, José Luis Mendoza, and the Director of Sports Activities (SAD), Paul Rosique.

Also at the Sports Gala were honored coach of the Indoor Football, Juan Francisco Fuentes, as best coach, and the athlete's UCAM Athleo Miguel Angel Lopez for his involvement in the London Olympics.

The jury, formed and chaired by the Director General of Sport and Physical Activity, Antonio Peñalver, along with members of the Association of Sports Press Murcia headed by its President, Juan de Dios Martinez, at a meeting held on November 8 failed, after making the appropriate feedback, Sports Merit Awards Murcia.
