Union spokesman Progress and Democracy in the city of Murcia, Ruben Juan Serna, states that "the current crisis demands a new deal" and a "system redesign transportation bond" from the government team.
"From our point of view," the mayor continued, "it makes little sense that there is a bond that allows free travel for families with a number of children," regardless of the threshold of income or economic status of the families.
For Ruben Juan Serna, the current system means there are families with one child and both parents are unemployed or without pay any subsidy they have to pay for transportation while there are families whose economic situation "more than acceptable" that to have seven or eight children "access to transport for free bonds."
"This way," and with a bonus that includes a certain number of trips, "would be guaranteed a minimum of mobility to families with difficulties."
It also highlights Serna would not need to expand the resources allocated in the budget for next year.
