The National Police intercepted at a checkpoint three youths with a gun and 27,500 euros in counterfeit currency (03/12/2012)

National Police agents arrested last November 21, three men during a police operation in which he intervened fire a handgun and a large amount of counterfeit euro banknotes.

The arrest took place in one of the controls that the National Police has been doing in different parts of the city in order to prevent the commission of crimes.

In one of these controls to be carried out in the village of Palmar (Los Rosales), requiring agents to three young men who were traveling in a vehicle, which, when he noticed the police presence began to flee through the streets of the hamlet being intercepted and arrested shortly after.

At the time of the arrest carried a firearm and 27,500 euros in 500, 50 and 20 euros false.

Three arrested three Moroccan men of 28, 34 and 36 years old, were charged with the offense of illegal possession of weapons and counterfeiting.

The detainees, who were comprised several police records were made available to the Magistrate's Court number three Murcia Guard on 23 November.

The operation was carried out by officers of the Police Headquarters of Murcia belonging to the District Commissioner Carmen and Economic Crime Group Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police.
