A missed opportunity for Murcia, as the PSOE (01/12/2012)

Following the approval of the municipal budget for 2013, the municipality loses financial aid to companies that hire new workers, without support for the unemployed, with social services copayment, rising taxes brutal and indiscriminate, with a repayment in sport and chaotic public transport and discriminatory

Socialist Party spokesman, Pedro Lopez, regrets that the adoption solo by the PP of the accounts for 2013 have lost an opportunity to Murcia.

"They are a copy of last year, to which must be added a spectacular rise and indiscriminate of all municipal taxes, increased fine revenue forecast, a new copayment in social services and repayment of sports facilities" .

The PP understands the game of budgets-Lopez continues as a dance number going to easy: cut salaries to officials and taxpayers raise taxes to deal with large mortgages Chamber signed at the time of bonanza.

"We will continue paying for Terra Natura 2.8 million, 4.6 million euros for four private sports centers and more than 10 million a year for a tram that goes only to the malls and UCAM".

It's insulting

PSOE spokesman described as "frustrating" that the PP intended only 1.50% of the entire city budget to tackle the problem of unemployment by establishing tax rebates or financial assistance to companies that hire new workers.

"With nearly 45,000 unemployed in the municipality, this passivity in combating unemployment is almost insulting."

Also, Lopez claims that it only cost us one month the tram is more than the budget of the year to help the dying traditional trade policy by excessive support to large surfaces by the PP.

Regarding investments in districts, the Socialist spokesman declares that "sleep the sleep of the just" because what little there is will in the city center.

Likewise, he adds, will injustice in public transport for residents of districts because House and Iniesta still determined to govern only for the city.

Only 400,000 euros destined for the underground train, but with this much-Lopez warns it would take 22 years to collect all the money you have to put the City on the table for this historical claim is true.

"Without public work, no, no employment and a city government that lives in another world far cost us out of the crisis," concludes the Socialist spokesman.
