Camera expose Murcia bet for sustainable mobility in Bogotá Summit on Cities and Climate Change (18/11/2012)

"The Summit of Cities and Climate Change" will address the content from various perspectives, such as comprehensive planning and management of cities and regions, comprehensive strategies for adaptation and mitigation, urban infrastructure and public services and water smart as the linchpin of climate change.

The event, organized by the Mayor of Bogotá, the Embassy of France, the French Agency for Development, CAF Development Bank of Latin America and Findeter, coordinated by the Fundación Ciudad Humana, will feature the mayors of Lima, San Salvador, Quito, La Paz, Santo Domingo, in addition to the heads of government of Buenos Aires and Mexico City

It is also expected to attend the Ministry of Environment of Mexico, the Vice-Mayor of Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian federal deputy and founder of Brazil's Green Party, former Vice Mayor of Paris and Vice President of the National Assembly of France , who also share successful experiences in relation to climate change.

All cities represented have in common their commitment to generating ordered and planned cities to promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life of its inhabitants in all dimensions, both the economic and the social, public policy and environmental , through infrastructure projects that generate organized territory planning.

The event is an invitation to reflection and learning from the best models to be implemented in cities and is an opportunity for citizens, authorities and civil society to consider how they grow, what model of development will building for its inhabitants, what is the quality of life they want to offer future generations and how to become an example of growth planned and organized so that, in the medium term, to become a world leader.

Mobility as a lifestyle

Miguel Angel House will also use his stay in Colombia to maintain contacts with various authorities.
