Once again, the municipality of Murcia hosts Cante Flamenco contest "The Birds", an encounter that, in its third edition, will bring together a total of 16 participants from several Spanish cities (two of them are Murcia).

The III Concurso de Cante Flamenco "The Birds" will start next Friday, November 16, at the Ateneo Cultural Huertano "The Birds".

The competition will take place on 16-17 November 23-24 and November 30, and December 1 will be the grand finale.

A final will inaugurate the new center will open culture of Guadalupe programming with this inaugural event.

The councilman of Culture, Rafael Gomez, who congratulated the association for the initiative, stressed that such clusters formerly existed in the municipality of Murcia, it was very common to find groups of this type for the garden, so praised the work being carried out this association.

The jury will be composed of:

- Lucia Albarran, dancer, choreographer and teacher of dance flamenco.

- Joseph Gelardo, researcher flamenco.

- Guillermo Castro, musicologist specializing in flamenco.
