The auditorium of the University of Murcia, Campus de la Merced, welcomes tomorrow, Thursday, November 8, the projection of the prize-winning documentary "The End of the Line", which chronicles the devastating effects of overfishing on the health of the seas.
In the film involved frontline fisheries scientists (Daniel Pauly, Ray Hilborn, Boris Worm, Yvonne Sadovy, Rashid Sumaila Ussif and so on), which analyzes the causes and consequences of overfishing and proposed courses of action, both individual collective.
After the screening there will be a conversation with journalist Charles Clover (The Daily Telegraph, Sunday Times), whose book was the basis for the script of the film.
The event is organized by the Master in Management of Fisheries and Aquaculture.
