The Department of Environment has organized for Saturday November 3, within the Urban Ecology Classroom Diverde, activity "Adventure Botanical Garden in the Malecon" to be held from 12 to 14 hours.
Those who participate will learn the secrets behind the Malecon Garden of the hand of the Association of Friends of the Botanical Garden.
This urban space, one of the most emblematic of the city, holds a unique history and a great diversity of tree and shrub species in various parts of the world.
During the tour participants will learn the most important events that have occurred in this environment, and plant species that dwell therein.
Also on hand for the Association, will be known who are developing projects to recover and enhance the environmental, cultural and educational aspects of this garden, and how you can participate.
The activity will end with a visit to the beds of native species that is preparing the Association and whose suitability are collaborating many locals voluntarily.
Persons participating in the visit will also make their mark in the garden planting a shrub species characteristic of the vegetation of the Southeast.
Participation in this event is free and requires no registration.
The meeting point is the Esplanade boardwalk entrance (opposite the Palace of Almudí).
In addition, like all weekends and holidays, is open the Point White Majal Environmental Information, which will cater to visitors who come to the Plaza de las Moreras (Private Torreguil) and the Municipal Forest Park environment in times of 9.30 to 14.30 hours.
From the square of the number of short journeys depart Moreras (PR) marked by the city of Murcia in collaboration with the Committee Hiking Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia, so many visitors requesting information for practicing hiking autonomously in the area.
