Agreement between the University of Murcia and the Autonomous Region for interoperability information (26/10/2012)

The Governing Council of the University of Murcia approved the signing of an agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Finance to exchange data electronically between the two institutions, which provide citizens unified processing procedures and steps that require the joint contribution of documents in the possession of either entity.

Initially, before the CARM, citizens will avoid filing procedures of registration receipt and certifying the degree, and the University of Murcia in their dealings obviate the filing of certificates of large families and disability, which will directly computer systems of the region.

Immediately, will be incorporated into this system interoperability grants certificates, the time worked and the high-level athletes.

The agreement, which includes the former government interoperability of information systems in the region, will run from the date of signature for a period of three years and involves no financial obligations by either party.

Interoperability between systems of government (eGovernment model) implies a significant cost savings in management and administrative expense and inconvenience for citizens and businesses.

To have a clear idea of ​​the cost savings of implementing e-government, the EU has given the administrative costs of the "Move to one administration to initiate a procedure costs 80 euros, while the same transaction using the online channel , costs only 5 € ".

In this case, the actual total estimated savings is about € 400.00.
