On 25 October, the Teatro Romea de Murcia celebrates the 150th anniversary of its opening, and to commemorate this date, the City of Murcia has organized a series of dramatized guided tours that will take place from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 October , in three sessions taking place at 10, at 11 and 12 hours.
An actor, in the role of Julian Romea, will be responsible for guiding visitors through the recesses of the theater, explaining the architecture and history-laden legends and stories of a building, which was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1862 .
Hand in hand with this illustrious character, participants will tour various departments of theater: from the façade to the Hall of Mirrors, past the stalls, being able to know, among others, details of the magnificent paintings that adorn the curtain ceiling.
The visits, free of charge, will be held in groups of up to 20 people.
