In this event the Association of College Radio of Spain (ARU), which is inscribed within the UCAM: iRadio, has signed a collaboration agreement with the University Radio Network Latin America and the Caribbean (RRULAC) and ustation. IT, the first network media university in Italy, in order to grow internationally and expand synergies between the partners of the 188 college radio.
Another act that broke the attention of the meeting was the presentation of the book "The college radio, beyond the radio. ICT interaction as radio resources."
The book is a research paper with input from college radio belonging to ARU, which are a total of 26 stations.
The work is divided into three sections, the first outlines the theoretical framework of the situation of the use of Information Technology and Communication in educational radio (ICT), the second addresses good practices implemented in these radios to finish guide with associated stations ARU.
Two of the teachers of the UCAM who participated in the conference, M ª Carmen Robles and Maria Isabel Garcia, contributed a chapter to the publication that speaks on the development of mobile applications for college radio.
This publication is the second held in common by all stations belonging to ARU after published in 2011, "The college radio as a public service for democratic citizenship".
