V UCAM Bioethics Bioethics Conference at the beginning of the XXI century: Nature, People, and Science (05/10/2012)

The renowned psychiatrist, and Professor of Psychopathology at the University San Pablo CEU, has spoken today in the UCAM about sex addiction and new technologies

"Master the computer and prevents this will dominate you. A rational use of it is essential to combat sex-addition through new technologies."

This forceful shown Polaino psychiatrist, during his speech at the V edition of the Conference of Bioethics at the Catholic University San Antonio (UCAM), which develop in the Jeronimos Monastery, home of the UCAM, days 5 and 6 October entitled Bioethics at the beginning of the XXI Century: Nature, People, and Science.

The Vice Chancellor of the University Religious Affairs, José Alberto Canovas, inaugurated the symposium accompanied by the director of the Official Master's Degree in Bioethics, Micaela Menárguez and academic secretary title, María del Carmen Ballester.

First Sword of Bioethics, Medicine, Philosophy, and Theology, or Legal Science and Professor of Psychiatry, Polaino, Doctor of Medicine, and Honorary President of the Association RENAFER, Monserrat Rutllan, physician and expert human sexuality, Luis Fernando Trullols, philosopher and theologian of the International University of Catalonia, Maria Victoria Roque, or the Dean of Law, and an expert in Health Law and Bioethics, Francisco de la Torre, have addressed through two separate panels qualified experts Sense of Bioethics in the XXI Century, and alterations in sexual behavior arising from new technologies, burning issues as bioethics and common sense, natural law and economic conditioning, sex addiction and new technologies, or the relationship between sexual dysfunction and the Information Technology and Communication.

Note that the day of speeches Saturday October 6, the day that will close the symposium will include two expert panels titled New Challenges of Bioethics, and Bioethics and Society, in charge of Palliative Medicine expert, Maria Teresa Garcia- Baquero, biologist at the University Complutense of Madris, Eduardo Corredor, the expert in Medicine Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Jose Maria Guardiola, or the lawyer Cristina Quijada.
