The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, participates morning Sant Gugat del Vallès in the 4th Congress of the Bicycle, which act to present the experience of Murcia in promoting bicycle use, accompanied by the Councillor for the Environment, Adela Martinez- Cachá.
The establishment of the Office of the Bicycle, the rental system organized with the collaboration of shops and workshops and the creation of routes and itineraries are some aspects that will be addressed by Miguel Angel House.
In parallel, the Network of Cities for Bicycle, chaired by the Mayor of Murcia, will also hold its general assembly tomorrow.
The conference's objectives is to further promote the use of bicycles and develop policies, infrastructure and debates that allow increasingly moving bikes and do it in the best conditions.
To do this, the papers focus mainly on two fear: The bicycle as an economic sector and developing strategies for the implementation of the bicycle in the municipalities.
The program has focused on highlighting the opportunities to show the bike and running successful experiences worldwide.
