The Vice President of Finance and Infrastructure at the University of Murcia, directed by Professor Antonio Calvo-Flores, has launched a series of measures aimed at achieving greater energy efficiency within the policy of austerity and savings implemented in 2009.
Measures now pose incorporated, as cooled air, the same will come into operation when the outside temperature is close to 23 degrees for a period of five days.
As for heating, the service will still work depending on the weather conditions, "once the outside ambient temperature remains below 19 degrees for five days."
Hours of availability of air conditioning all year round and for all buildings will be from 9:00 to 19:00 from Monday to Friday, and, "if needed during the weekend, will be requested by notice of work. "
The regulation adds that "however, will be a more particularly for those buildings that have certain peculiarities in terms of building materials, guidance or other circumstances."
